Bikers from all over the area have come together to ride in honour of Stratford's Conrad Lewis, who was the 353rd soldier to be killed in Afghanistan and was the inspiration behind the recent 'Soldier On' song. The charity set up by Conrad's family is called The 353 Trust and helps injured service men and women and the families of the bereaved. As the ride prepared to set off, a former marine and pilot showed just what his stunt plane could do! For more information about the charity visit: www.353.org.uk

Soldier On

Soldier On is the song dedicated to the memory of Private Conrad Lewis, a Claverdon resident and well known in Stratford, who became the 353rd British soldier to be killed in Afghanistan. In this video Conrad's father talks about his son and how the song came to be produced. It was released on the 3rd anniversary of his death, produced by The Big Secret Sound and performed and composed by Stratford's Andrew James, with lyrics by Chris Onslow. Proceeds from the song go to support the work of the charity founded in his honour, www.353.org.uk.  Watch video >>
